Fit2Inspire Community Initiative

Over the past 18 months, we have developed and delivered a community initiative in response to a growing need for structured activities for local teenagers. The aim was to provide young people with positive, engaging alternatives to spending time on the streets or in local parks, while also promoting physical wellbeing and social development.

After consulting with parents, we introduced a structured activity programme that included Boxercise classes and other forms of physical exercise. We were fortunate to secure sponsorship from a local business, which enabled us to run these sessions at the local sports centre at no cost to the participants.

The programme operated for a total of 20 weeks, comprising 10 weeks of Boxercise sessions followed by 10 weeks of supervised gym-based activities. This initiative provided young people with regular, healthy, and purposeful engagement, while strengthening community relationships and supporting positive lifestyle choices.
